Millridge Mustang Message

September 24, 2026

The Millridge Elementary logo features a large green 'M' with the school's name.

Fall Is Here!

We hope our Mustangs and families enjoyed the long weekend and had some time to relax and enjoy time together! Although it was a short week for our students, they came back ready to learn and jumped right back into their classroom routines. We are proud to see our Mustangs demonstrating kindness, responsibility, and Mustang Pride throughout the school day.

Student of the Month: Celebrating Respect
This month, we have been focusing on Respect as our character trait. We are proud to recognize students who demonstrate respect through their everyday actions, including treating others with kindness and consideration, listening to others, valuing differences, and helping create a welcoming school community.

On Friday, October 2, we will celebrate our Student of the Month recipients at our Rise and Shine Celebration. Students selected by their teachers from each grade level will be honored for demonstrating Respect and being positive role models within our Millridge community.

We look forward to celebrating these students and the wonderful contributions they make to our school community!

Attendance Awareness Month: Supporting Every Student, Every Day

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we are committed to partnering with you to ensure your student is in school, learning, and thriving. Consistent attendance builds strong habits, supports academic success, and keeps kids connected to their school community.

To keep you informed and support your family early, our district attendance policy tracks absences as a percentage of total school days completed so far:
  • 7% of days missed: You will receive an email check-in from our team.
  • 10% of days missed: You will receive a phone call to discuss how we can help.
  • 15% of days missed: We will contact you to schedule a meeting and collaborate on an Attendance Improvement Plan tailored to your child.
Please note: Because these percentages are calculated based on the total number of school days elapsed, your child’s percentage will naturally shift as the school year progresses. Missing just a couple of days early in the term can temporarily spike this percentage, but consistent attendance moving forward will bring it back down.

Check our attendance packet you received at Meet the Teacher for more details and review the document below, and reach out anytime if your family needs support getting to school on time!

EDULOG Bus App

You have access to a revolutionary smartphone app that helps to improve communication, school bus safety, and efficiency. The Edulog Parent Portal app provides you with planned time and location information for your child's bus ride to and from school. On a daily basis, the app will show you the GPS location of the bus and send you a push notification when it is nearing your bus stop.

This app is free of charge for our parents, caregivers, and students. In addition to displaying the location of your bus and sending the notifications, you can also receive time-sensitive messages from our transportation department. You will also receive notification when a substitute bus is running your route due to maintenance, absences, etc.

The Edulog Parent Portal app integrates with our school bus routing system, which is also provided by Education Logistics, Inc. (Edulog), a premier provider of school bus technology. School bus locations are sent from a GPS device installed on each bus which not only provides up-to-date information for you, but also for our school bus maintenance staff who need to know the real-time location of each bus for maintenance and other service requirements.

Security is important. Only you have access to your student’s transportation information through the app via a secure login process. You must know your student’s school of attendance, ID number and date of birth in addition to the exact spelling of his or her first name and last name.

Please know that our goal is to provide safe and efficient transportation for all Mayfield City Scholl children riding our buses and vans. By improving communication and expanding the information available to you by implementing this app, we are working hard to meet and exceed that goal.

Additional information about using Edulog Parent Portal is available on our web site at:

If you have additional questions regarding the app, please contact our transportation department at: 440.995.7890

Attached are directions on how to get the Edulog Parent Portal app up and running!
